SourceLedger investigates the factual claims in an article. Submit a URL or paste the text to receive a document summary and an explained judgment for each claim.

Using your selected OpenRouter model, SourceLedger identifies the main article's claims, researches them through web search and selected evidence pages, and compares them with published fact-check results. A final model round synthesizes the evidence and fact-check assessments into one judgment per claim.

The activity log makes the process visible, including unavailable sources, disagreements and retries. Reports preserve the summary, verdicts and assessment metadata. A missing source is a limitation, not proof that a claim is false, and repeated reporting is not necessarily independent corroboration.

Model requests run in your browser with your own OpenRouter API key. SourceLedger stores investigation records and reports, but never receives that key. Results are investigation aids, not guarantees of truth or substitutes for professional advice. Every completed report is automatically published and can be read through its report link without signing in.
